No microwave available , which was inconvenient. The room was spacious and comfortable—great decor and a lovely fireplace. Close to bus lines, perfect for bike rentals too. Breakfast was fantastic, and evening wine was a nice touch.

The hotel had a central setting to Pier 1.

room was large and bed very comfortable, although the hotel is central, one sleeps very peacefully. Everything is in the style of an English country house, with lots of floral decoration everywhere, walls included. It is cosy, with fireplaces and sofas in the rooms and living room. I don't know why it's not considered a hotel, I guess because of its tamańo. Neither the comfort nor the price are bed & breakfast. It's very close to the Cathedral and Union Square.

The day I was going on a trip to Yosemite I asked to be saved some fruit or something to eat when I arrived at night and they told me that it was not possible. Considering that I had not had breakfast there nor had I eaten anything they offer in the afternoon - fruit, coffee, cake... - it seems a bit rude to me. The breakfast could be better, since the price of the hotel is not a bed & breakfast. And the staff that serves it could smile or at least say good morning, they are not at all friendly. In the room the only thing that's a problem are the curtains, which let the light in.

The hotel provided first-class services. The staff were accommodating and incredible. The location is ideal, close to most tourist attractions. We had a wonderful time and would definitely book here again.

Quaint small hotel for walking around. Good size bathroom with a tub. Very central location close to lots of restaurants and shops. Very close to the centre of the city, the cable cars, Chinatown, Union Square, and restaurants.

Location, 5 minute walk from Union Square. very pleasant and kind treatment received by the reception staff. You only need to have any doubt or inconvenience so that they try to solve it as soon as possible. cozy and quiet vintage style hotel. Perfect wifi. We were in a quiet room facing the back where there is like a small garden. room we were in is very spacious, with a gas fireplace and a fridge where every day we had bottles of water and soft drinks to spend the day. elevator is very, old but has its charm. fruit of the breakfast is very good. Additional information: no parking available.

Breakfast is a bit of a stretch in terms of variety. We were missing a water fountain or bottles of water and hot milk as we always had to ask the waitress to heat it up for us. Few plugs in the room.

The property was well-equipped with delightfully helpful and caring staff. Best customer service that began before we even checked into the hotel. Everything was simply lovely.

Excellent location in the center and quiet at the same time, extremely friendly and helpful staff, very nice design, good breakfasts, cookies for guests always available :), wine tasting. Was absolutely great and exceeding expectations.

Welcoming hotel with cosy rooms. Great hospitality as wine and canapes were served early evening as well as homemade cookies and cakes.

The venue was spotless and big. A wide array of food at breakfast like croissants, toast, cereals, fruit, and hardboiled eggs. Exceptionally nice staff team with the best customer service that began before we even checked into the hotel.

Well priced place, had a nice stay in September. The hotel was in the very central setting in excellent area. Plus, it was very close to the centre of the city and Union Square, shopping, the cable car line and Chinatown and great restaurants and cafe's.

The hotel is in a safe area close to Union Square, Grace Cathedral, and downtown. The rooms are beautifully updated, and some come with a Sofa Bed. The staff is pleasant, incredibly nice, and provides excellent customer service. There is a great selection of breakfast options available, including coffee and tea. The check-in process is quick, and late check-out is possible.

I loved the nice little touches such as antique books and the fireplace. There was even a little plush teddy bear on the bed!
